Western States Fire Investigations can provide the following additional expert services to your case:
Fire Code Analysis
Fire Code Analysis is a dynamic and ever changing necessity in fire losses and for other life safety issues. All of the investigators at Western States Fire Investigations are not only certified as Fire Inspector I or II with the International Code Council but they also have practical application of the fire code in the 'authority having jurisdiction' (AHJ) role. The AHJ role experience is a highly sought experience level as most fire investigators have absolutely no practical experience in being an AHJ and the majority have don't even have the certification to understand the complex building and fire codes. Hazardous Materials Incident Evaluation Hazardous Materials Incident Evaluation is an important capability to possess. When we use 'possess' we are talking about persons who have not only the training in hazardous materials but also the experience in responding to and mitigating hazardous materials incidents in the public safety setting. We are not discussing the 'standard' NFPA 472 training most other fire investigators claim to possess. Our staff includes a Hazardous Materials Technician who has worked on a regional hazardous materials team and has provided training to not only public safety personnel but also the industry. You will not find a company like Western States Fire Investigations who has a person of this caliber on thier staff. If your incident or loss encompasses hazardous materials you can not find a better company to partner with for the expertise needed to determine the nature and extent to what hazardous materials played in that incident. Explosive Materials Incident Evaluation is a complex from the start investigation to undertake. Most fire investigators will promote that they have the experience in post-blast incident investigation citing the NFPA 921, however only Western States Fire Investigations has experts on staff that not only have the training necessary in post-blast incident evaluation but have responded to post-blast incidents in the public safety agency role. In addition to explosion incident training our investigators have been trained to deal with Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) incidents to the technician level.
